WHEREAS the Minister of Justice has caused this Act to be prepared in English and French for re-enactment in accordance with a judgment dated June 13, 1985 and an order dated November 4, 1985 of the Supreme Court of Canada;

ATTENDU QUE le ministre de la Justice a fait rédiger la présente loi en français et en anglais en vue de sa réadoption en conformité avec un jugement de la Cour suprême du Canada daté du 13 juin 1985 et avec une ordonnance de ce tribunal datée du 4 novembre 1985;

THEREFORE HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

Transportation arrangement continued

1 Notwithstanding any provisions of The Public Schools Act, the transportation arrangements existing in The Assiniboine North School Division No. 2 on January 1, 1969 shall not be reduced unless, in the opinion of the board of trustees of The St. James-Assiniboia School Division No. 2, the need for transportation in a particular area no longer exists.

1 Par dérogation aux dispositions de la Loi sur les écoles publiques, les services de transport qui étaient offerts le 1^er janvier 1969 dans la Division scolaire d'Assiniboine-Nord n^o 2 ne sont pas réduits à moins que, de l'avis de la commission scolaire de la Division scolaire de St-James Assiniboia n^o 2, il n'existe plus de besoin de transport dans une région donnée.
