The St. James-Assiniboia School Division No. 2 Act

WHEREAS the Minister of Justice has caused this Act to be prepared in English and French for re-enactment in accordance with a judgment dated June 13, 1985 and an order dated November 4, 1985 of the Supreme Court of Canada;

THEREFORE HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

Transportation arrangement continued

Notwithstanding any provisions of The Public Schools Act, the transportation arrangements existing in The Assiniboine North School Division No. 2 on January 1, 1969 shall not be reduced unless, in the opinion of the board of trustees of The St. James-Assiniboia School Division No. 2, the need for transportation in a particular area no longer exists.

NOTE: This provision was section 28 of the Act found at S.M. 1968, chapter 81.
