The Manitoba Intercultural Council Repeal Act

(Assented to July 27, 1993)

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

"Council" defined

In this Act,

"council" means the Manitoba Intercultural Council continued under the Manitoba Intercultural Council Act.

Council dissolved

The council is hereby dissolved.

Assets and liabilities transferred

On dissolution of the council

(a) all assets, including money and other assets, in the name of or in trust for the council; and

(b) all obligations and liabilities of the council;

are transferred to and vest in Manitoba Intercultural Council Inc.

C.C.S.M. c. I55 repealed

The Manitoba Intercultural Council Act, R.S.M. 1987, c. I55, is repealed.

Coming into force

This Act comes into force on the day it receives royal assent.
