Return of empty bottles, cans and containers
1(1) Unless authorized by the corporation, a retail beer vendor must
(a) accept empty beer bottles, beer cans and ready-to-drink alcoholic beverage containers on which a refundable deposit has been paid;
(b) pay the applicable refundable deposit to the person returning the empty bottles, cans and containers; and
(c) provide adequate storage space for the empty bottles, cans and containers.
Definition of "ready-to-drink alcoholic beverage"
1(2) In subsection (1), "ready-to-drink alcoholic beverage" means a pre-packaged, single-serving drink that contains alcohol, and includes pre-mixed cocktails, wine and spirit-based coolers, hard seltzers and ciders.

Coming into force
3 This regulation comes into force on the same day that Schedule A of The Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation Act and Liquor and Gaming Control Act, S.M. 2013, c. 51, comes into force.
