Persons excluded from the definition "employee"

1 For the purposes of The Civil Service Superannuation Act, a person who

(a) provided services to the Manitoba Department of Justice under a contract for service; and

(b) by virtue of an agreement between the government and the Manitoba Government and General Employees Union dated July 6, 2005, was recognized as an employee under The Civil Service Act as of April 1, 2005;

is excluded from the definition "employee" in The Civil Service Superannuation Act until April 1, 2007.

1 Pour l'application de la Loi sur la pension de la fonction publique, est exclu jusqu'au 1^er avril 2007 de la définition de « employé » figurant dans cette loi quiconque :

a) a fourni des services au ministère de la Justice du Manitoba en vertu d'un contrat de service;

b) a été reconnu à titre d'employé visé par la Loi sur la fonction publique en date du 1^er avril 2005, en vertu d'une convention conclue le 6 juillet 2005 entre le gouvernement et le Syndicat des employés généraux et des fonctionnaires du Manitoba.
