An Act to amend The Coat of Arms, Floral Emblem and Tartan Act
The long title of The Coat of Arms, Floral Emblem and Tartan Act (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"), being Chapter C150 of the Re-enacted Statutes of Manitoba, 1987, is repealed and the following title is substituted therefor:
THE COAT OF ARMS, EMBLEMS AND THE MANITOBA TARTAN ACT
The preamble to the Act is repealed.
Section 5 of the Act is repealed and the following section is substituted therefor:
The flower known botanically as the aenomone patens and popularly called the "crocus" is adopted as and is the floral emblem of Manitoba.
The bird ornithologically known as Strix nebulosa and commonly called the "Great Gray Owl" is adopted as and is the avian emblem of Manitoba.
