The Town of Winnipeg Beach Act
(Assented to March 15, 1990)
WHEREAS the Minister of Justice has caused this Act to be prepared in English and French for re-enactment in accordance with a judgment dated June 13, 1985 and an order dated November 4, 1985 of the Supreme Court of Canada;
THEREFORE HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:
Notwithstanding the provisions of The Municipal Act, the mayor and each member of the council of the town of Winnipeg Beach are entitled to receive a mileage allowance of 10 cents per mile one way, but not exceeding $5. for a meeting, for attending a regular meeting of the council and the board of revision from a place outside of the town.
