An Act to Amend an Act to Incorporate The Royal Winnipeg Rifles Foundation

WHEREAS The Royal Winnipeg Rifles Foundation was incorporated by An Act to Incorporate The Royal Winnipeg Rifles Foundation, being chapter 53 of the Statutes of Manitoba, 1986-87;

AND WHEREAS it is desirable, and The Royal Winnipeg Rifles Foundation has by its petition prayed, that it be enacted as hereinafter set forth, and it is expedient to grant the prayer of the petition;

THEREFORE, HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

Subsec. 3(1) am.

Subsection 3(1) of An Act to Incorporate The Royal Winnipeg Rifles Foundation, being chapter 53 of the Statutes of Manitoba, 1986-87, is amended by striking out clauses (c), (d) and (e) and substituting the following clause:

(c) promote and assist the Regimental Band by providing any trappings, equipment or music not provided by the Department of National Defence of the Government of Canada.

Commencement of Act

This Act comes into force on the day it receives the royal assent.
