Definitions

1 The following definitions apply in this regulation.

"agricultural activity" includes grazing and the harvesting of turf or sod. (« activité agricole »)

"provincially significant peatland" means an area designated as a provincially significant peatland under this regulation. (« tourbière d'importance provinciale »)

Fish Lake Fen Provincially Significant Peatland

2 The area described on the map in Schedule A is hereby designated as the Fish Lake Fen Provincially Significant Peatland.

Tourbière d'importance provinciale du Marais-Du-Lac-Fish

2 La zone indiquée sur la carte figurant à l'annexe A est désignée « tourbière d'importance provinciale du Marais-Du-Lac-Fish ».

Moswa Meadows Provincially Significant Peatland

3 The area described on the map in Schedule B is hereby designated as the Moswa Meadows Provincially Significant Peatland.

3 La zone indiquée sur la carte figurant à l'annexe B est désignée « tourbière d'importance provinciale des Prés-De-Moswa ».

Prohibition on logging and agricultural activities

4 A person must not engage in any of the following activities in a provincially significant peatland:

(a) logging or any other type of forestry activity;

(b) any type of agricultural activity.

Activités agricoles et forestières interdites

4 Les activités agricoles ou forestières de tout type, y compris l'exploitation forestière, sont interdites dans les tourbières d'importance provinciale.

Coming into force

5 This regulation comes into force on February 2, 2023.
