THE COURT OF KING'S BENCH AMENDMENT ACT

HIS MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

C.C.S.M. c. C280 amended

1   The Court of King's Bench Act is amended by this Act.

2   Section 11.8 is amended by renumbering it as subsection 11.8(1) and adding the following as subsection 11.8(2):

Salary following resignation as senior master

11.8(2)   A person who resigns as senior master after serving as senior master for at least seven years but who continues to act as a master is entitled to receive the greater of the current annual salary of a master and their salary immediately before they resigned as senior master.

Coming into force

3   This Act comes into force on the day it receives royal assent.
