THE HUMAN RIGHTS CODE AMENDMENT ACT

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:
The Human Rights Code is amended by this Act.
Subsection 9(2) is amended by adding the following after clause (m):
(n) physical size or weight.
This Act comes into force on the day it receives royal assent.

Explanatory Note This Bill amends The Human Rights Code. The list of protected characteristics under the Code is expanded to cover physical size and weight. |
