The University of Winnipeg Amendment Act
(Assented to June 10, 2004)
HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:
1 The University of Winnipeg Act is amended by this Act.
2 Clause 12(2)(d) is amended by adding "the non-academic conduct of" after "over".
3 The following is added after clause 24(2)(d):
(d.1) exercise internal disciplinary jurisdiction over the academic conduct of students, including the power to expel or suspend for cause;
4 This Act comes into force on the day it receives royal assent.
