THE ESSENTIAL SERVICES AMENDMENT ACT

(Assented to June 1, 1999)

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

C.C.S.M. c. E145 amended

1         The Essential Services Act is amended by this Act.

2         Section 1 is amended, in the definition "employer", by adding the following after clause (g):

(h) The City of Winnipeg, as it pertains to ambulance services;

3 This Act comes into force on a day fixed by proclamation.
