THE REGISTRY AMENDMENT ACT

(Assented to June 29, 1998)

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

C.C.S.M. c. R50 amended

1         The Registry Act is amended by this Act.

2         Section 19.1 is repealed and the following is substituted:

Sections 18 and 19 not applicable

19.1      Sections 18 and 19 do not apply to

(a) Orders in Council; or

(b) any instruments that transfer administration and control of Crown lands between Canada and Manitoba.

Coming into force

3         This Act comes into force on the day it receives royal assent.
