THE STEAM AND PRESSURE PLANTS AMENDMENT ACT

(Assented to June 28, 1997)

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

C.C.S.M. c. S210 amended

1          The Steam and Pressure Plants Act is amended by this Act.

2         The following is added after section 3:

Exemption of certain pressure vessels

3.1       Despite section 3, a pressure vessel that is subject to inspection under the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act, 1992 (Canada) is not subject to inspection under that section.

Coming into force

3         This Act comes into force on the day it receives royal assent.
