The Surveys Amendment Act

(Assented to June 24, 1992)

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

C.C.S.M. c. S240 amended

1           The Surveys Act is amended by this Act.

2           The heading preceding section 15 is amended by striking out "AND POWERS OF LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL".

3           Subsections 15(3), (4) and (5) are repealed.

4           The following is added after section 44:

REGULATIONS

Ministerial regulation respecting fees

44.1        The minister may, by regulation, establish a tariff of fees that may be charged for maps, plans and other documents, materials and services provided under this Act or the regulations.

L.G. in C. regulations

44.2        The Lieutenant Governor in Council may make regulations respecting any matter that is necessary or advisable to implement this Part effectively.

Coming into force

5           This Act comes into force on the day it receives royal assent.
