The York Trust and Savings Corporation Business Authorization Act

WHEREAS York Trust and Savings Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "the company") was incorporated by letters patent dated October 11, 1962, issued under the laws of the Province of Ontario;
AND WHEREAS the company, by its petition, prayed that it should be authorized to carry on business in Manitoba;
AND WHEREAS its prayer was granted, and resulted in the enactment of an Act respecting York Trust and Savings Corporation assented to April 16, 1964;
AND WHEREAS the Minister of Justice has caused the Act to be prepared in English and French for re-enactment in accordance with a judgment dated June 13, 1985 and an order dated November 4, 1985 of the Supreme Court of Canada;
THEREFORE HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:
The authority of York Trust and Savings Corporation to carry on business in the Province of Manitoba is continued.
NOTE: This Act replaces S.M. 1964 (1st sess.), c. 106.
