WHEREAS C.A.C. Realty Limited (hereinafter referred to as "the company") was incorporated under the laws of the Province of Ontario on January 31, 1962;

ATTENDU QUE la compagnie dénommée « C.A.C. Realty Limited » (la « Compagnie ») a été constituée en vertu des lois de la province d'Ontario le 31 janvier 1962;

AND WHEREAS the company was a loan company within the meaning of The Companies Act;

ATTENDU QUE la Compagnie était une compagnie de prêts au sens de la loi intitulée « The Companies Act »;

AND WHEREAS the company, by its petition, prayed that it should be authorized to carry on business in Manitoba as a loan company;

ATTENDU QUE la Compagnie a demandé l'autorisation d'exercer ses activités au Manitoba à titre de compagnie de prêt;

AND WHEREAS its prayer was granted, and resulted in the enactment of An Act respecting C.A.C. Realty Limited, assented to May 6, 1963;

ATTENDU QUE sa demande a été reçue et qu'il en a résulté l'adoption d'une loi intitulée « An Act respecting C.A.C. Realty Limited » sanctionnée le 6 mai 1963;

AND WHEREAS the Minister of Justice has caused the Act to be prepared in English and French for re-enactment in accordance with a judgment dated June 13, 1985 and an order dated November 4, 1985 of the Supreme Court of Canada;

ATTENDU QUE le ministre de la Justice a fait rédiger la présente loi en français et en anglais en vue de sa réadoption en conformité avec un jugement et une ordonnance de la Cour suprême du Canada datés respectivement du 13 juin 1985 et du 4 novembre 1985;

THEREFORE HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

PAR CONSÉQUENT, SA MAJESTÉ, sur l'avis et du consentement de l'Assemblée législative du Manitoba, édicte :

Authority to carry on business continued

1 The authority of C.A.C. Realty Limited to carry on business in the Province of Manitoba is continued.

Prorogation

1 Est prorogé le pouvoir de la Compagnie d'exercer ses activités au Manitoba.

NOTE:This Act replaces S.M. 1963, c. 121.
