The Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Day Act

WHEREAS one person's decision to become an organ and tissue donor may benefit up to 50 people;
AND WHEREAS there is a need to promote awareness, education and discussion about becoming an organ and tissue donor;
THEREFORE HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:
1 The Tuesday of the last full week in April of each year is proclaimed as Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Day.
2 This Act may be referred to as chapter O76 of the Continuing Consolidation of the Statutes of Manitoba.
3 This Act comes into force on the day it receives royal assent.
