THE CANADA - UNITED KINGDOM JUDGMENTS ENFORCEMENT ACT

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:
In this Act, "convention" means the Convention for the Reciprocal Recognition and Enforcement of Judgments in Civil and Commercial Matters set out in the Schedule hereto.
From and after January 1, 1987, the convention is in force in the province and the provisions thereof are law in the province.
Her Majesty's Court of Queen's Bench for Manitoba is the court to which application for registration of a judgment given by a court of the United Kingdom may be made.
The Lieutenant Governor in Council may make such regulations as are necessary to carry out the intent and purpose of this Act.
Where there is a conflict between this Act and any other enactment, this Act prevails.
