HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

Definition

1   In this Act,

"minister" means the member of the Executive Council charged by the Lieutenant Governor in Council with the administration of The Public Works Act. (« ministre »)

Lieutenant Governor's residence subject to control of the minister

2   The Government House property, comprising the residence of the Lieutenant Governor, with all the grounds, outbuildings, and premises, understood and known and enclosed as such, lying and being in The City of Winnipeg, is subject to the control of the minister; and shall, without charge for rent, be placed at the disposal of the Lieutenant Governor of the province for the time being.

2   Le domaine du Palais du gouvernement, qui comprend la résidence du lieutenant-gouverneur, ses terrains et ses bâtiments et dépendances, connus et désignés comme tels, sis en la ville de Winnipeg, est sous la gestion du ministre. Il est mis à la disposition du lieutenant-gouverneur de la province en fonction, sans loyer.
