Revisions related to gender-neutral nouns and pronouns

Under subsection 26.2(1) of The Statutes and Regulations Act, the chief legislative counsel may revise language and grammar in legislation to replace the exclusive use of masculine or feminine nouns and pronouns or binary pronouns with equivalent gender-neutral nouns and pronouns.

In the English version of this Act, such revisions were made in the following provisions:

s. 1 — clause (b) of the definition "common-law partner", in the part before subclause (i)
