HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:
The Tobacco Tax Act is amended by this Act.
Subsection 2(1) is amended
(a) in clause (a), by striking out "29.5¢" and substituting "30¢";
(b) in clause (c), by striking out "27¢" and substituting "27.5¢";
(c) in clause (c.1), by striking out "45¢" and substituting "45.5¢"; and
(d) in clause (d), by striking out "28.5¢" and substituting "29¢".
This Act comes into force
(a) on July 1, 2019, if it receives royal assent before that day; or
(b) on November 15, 2019, if it receives royal assent on or after July 1, 2019.
