The corporation may make by-laws, not inconsistent with this Act,

(a) respecting its internal organization and proceedings;

(b) prescribing the powers and duties of the directors and other officers or employees of the corporation;

(c) respecting physicians and medical support personnel of the corporation, including their appointment, qualifications and functions; and

(d) generally for the better carrying out of the provisions of this Act and the objects of the corporation.

By-laws not effective until approved

19(2)

A by-law of the corporation, and any amendment to it, is of no force or effect until approved by the minister.

The Aboriginal and Northern Affairs By-law (Approval of Estimates and Levy of Taxes 2003), Manitoba Regulation 81/2004,

(a) is validated and declared to have been lawfully made; and

(b) is deemed to have come into force on July 15, 2003.

Everything done that would have been validly done under the regulation had it been registered on July 15, 2003, is validated and deemed to have been lawfully done, and all payments required by the regulation are deemed to have been lawfully required and received as if the regulation had come into force on that day.
