The Denturists Amendment Act
(Assented to June 24, 1992)
HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:
The Denturists Act is amended by this Act.
Section 1 is amended by adding the following definition in alphabetical order:
"board" means the board of directors of the association referred to in section 6; («conseil»)
Subsection 3(1) is amended by striking out "minister" and substituting "board".
Subsection 3(2) is repealed and the following is substituted:
The board may appoint one or more inspectors for the purposes of this Act.
Section 5 is amended by striking out "minister" and substituting "board".
Subsection 6(1) is amended by striking out "(hereinafter referred to as the "board")".
Subsection 13(1) is amended by striking out "Lieutenant Governor in Council" and substituting "board".
In the following provisions, "minister" is struck out and "board" is substituted:
(a) subsections 13(3), (4) and (5);
(b) subsection 14(3);
(c) subsections 20(1) and (2);
(d) subsection 21(1);
(e) clause 23(m).
This Act comes into force on the day that is three months after the day it receives royal assent.
