The Environment Amendment Act

(Assented to March 8, 1990)

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

CCSM c. E125, amended

The Environment Act is amended by this Act.

Section 31 amended

Section 31 is amended by adding "or an order of a judge made pursuant to section 36" after "regulations,".

Section 32 amended

Section 32 is amended by adding "or an order of a judge made pursuant to section 36" after "therein,".

Section 33 amended

Section 33 is amended

(a) in clause (1)(a) by striking out "$5000." and substituting "$50,000";

(b) in clause (1)(b) by striking out "$10,000." and substituting "$100,000";

(c) in clause (2)(a) by striking out "$100,000." and substituting "$500,000"; and

(d) in clause (2)(b) by striking out "$200,000." and substituting "$1,000,000".

Coming into force

This Act comes into force on a day fixed by proclamation.
