The Liquor Control Amendment Act

(Assented to November 16, 1988)

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

C.C.S.M. c. L160 amended

The Liquor Control Act is amended by adding the following subsections:

Weapon forbidden

No person shall, in any licensed premises, be in possession of

(a) a knife, other than a knife provided by the licensee as part of the food service; or

(b) a weapon.

"Weapon" defined

In subsection (7), "weapon" has the same meaning as it has in the Criminal Code (Canada).

Commencement

This Act comes into force on the day it receives the royal assent.
