An Act to amend An Act to Incorporate Les Révérends Pères Oblats in the Province of Manitoba
(Assented to July 11, 1985)
WHEREAS Les Révérends Pères Oblats has by its petition prayed that it be enacted as hereinafter set forth and it is expedient to grant the prayer of the petition;
THEREFORE HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:
Section 1 of An Act to Incorporate Les Révérends Pères Oblats in the Province of Manitoba, being chapter 35 of the Statutes of Manitoba, 1873, as amended by chapter 82 of the Statutes of Manitoba, 1904, and by chapter 56 of the Statutes of Manitoba, 1979, is further amended
(a) by striking out the words "being natural born or naturalized subjects of Her Majesty" in the 4th and 5th lines thereof; and
(b) by striking out the words "Les Révérends Pères Oblats" in the 9th line thereof and substituting therefor the words "Les Oblats de Marie Immaculée du Manitoba".
This Act comes into force on the day it receives the royal assent.
