Definition
1 In this regulation, "Act" means The Protecting Youth in Sports Act.

Prescribed provincial sport organizations
2 The following are prescribed as provincial sport organizations for the purposes of the Act:
(a) Accessible Sport Connection Manitoba;
(b) Manitoba Aboriginal Sports & Recreation Council Inc.;
(c) Sports en français Inc.;
(d) Winnipeg Aboriginal Sport Achievement Centre;
(e) Winnipeg Newcomer Sport Academy Inc.
Organismes sportifs provinciaux désignés
2 Pour l'application de la Loi, les organismes qui suivent sont désignés à titre d'organismes sportifs provinciaux :
a) Accessible Sport Connection Manitoba;
b) Manitoba Aboriginal Sports & Recreation Council Inc.;
c) Sports en français Inc.;
d) Winnipeg Aboriginal Sport Achievement Centre;
e) Winnipeg Newcomer Sport Academy Inc.
Required coaching courses
3 For the purpose of subsection 6(3) of the Act, a provincial sport organization must ensure that each of its coaches completes the coaching courses prepared or approved by Sport Manitoba
(a) within 60 days after starting coaching; and
(b) at five-year intervals after the initial coaching course was completed unless Sport Manitoba requires completion by an earlier date.
Formation obligatoire pour les entraîneurs
3 Pour l'application du paragraphe 6(3) de la Loi, l'organisme sportif provincial veille à ce que ses entraîneurs suivent la formation élaborée ou approuvée par Sport Manitoba :
a) dans les 60 jours suivant leur entrée en fonction à titre d'entraîneur;
b) à tous les cinq ans par la suite, sauf si Sport Manitoba exige que la formation soit suivie plus tôt.
Coming into force
4 This regulation comes into force on the same day that The Protecting Youth in Sports Act, S.M. 2025, c. 19, comes into force.
