1 The Public Utilities Board Fees Regulation, Manitoba Regulation 51/94, is amended by this regulation.

2 Subsection 1(2) is amended by replacing the table with the following:

Transitional
3 Despite subsection 1(1) of the Public Utilities Board Fees Regulation, Manitoba Regulation 51/94, for the period beginning April 1, 2026, and ending March 31, 2027, Manitoba Hydro, Manitoba Public Insurance Corporation and Centra Gas Manitoba Inc. must pay the following to the Public Utilities Board:
(a) the fees payable under subsection 1(2) of that regulation as it read immediately before the coming into force of this regulation in 12 equal installments on or about the first day of each month;
(b) the amount by which
(i) the fees payable for the period beginning April 1, 2026, and ending March 31, 2027, under subsection 1(2) of that regulation as it read after the coming into force of this regulation,
exceed
(ii) the fees payable for the period beginning April 1, 2026, and ending March 31, 2027, under subsection 1(2) of that regulation as it read immediately before the coming into force of this regulation;
in one or more payments before April 1, 2027.
Disposition transitoire
3 Par dérogation au paragraphe 1(1) du Règlement sur les droits payables à la Régie des services publics, R.M. 51/94, les droits qu'Hydro-Manitoba, la Société d'assurance publique du Manitoba et Centra Gas Manitoba Inc. doivent payer à la Régie des services publics pour la période allant du 1er avril 2026 au 31 mars 2027 sont les suivants :
a) les droits prévus au paragraphe 1(2) de ce règlement dans sa version antérieure à l'entrée en vigueur du présent règlement, en 12 versements égaux effectués le premier jour de chaque mois ou vers cette date;
b) l'excédent des droits prévus par le présent règlement sur ceux visés à l'alinéa a), en un ou plusieurs versements avant le 1er avril 2027.
Coming into force
4 This regulation comes into force on the day it is registered under The Statutes and Regulations Act.
