Manitoba Regulation 217/2006 amended

1 The Workplace Safety and Health Regulation, Manitoba Regulation 217/2006, is amended by this regulation.

Modification du R.M. 217/2006

1 Le présent règlement modifie le Règlement sur la sécurité et la santé au travail, R.M. 217/2006.

2 Section 4.7 is amended, in the part before the table, by adding "or prime contractor" after "employer".

2 Le passage qui précède le tableau de l'article 4.7 est modifié par adjonction, après « l'employeur », de « ou l'entrepreneur principal ».

3 Section 4.10 is amended by renumbering it as subsection 4.10(1) and adding the following as subsection 4.10(2):

3 L'article 4.10 est modifié par substitution, à son numéro, du numéro de paragraphe 4.10(1) et par adjonction, après ce paragraphe, de ce qui suit :

4.10(2) The exemption provided in subsection (1) does not apply to a site for the construction or renovation of a commercial, industrial or institutional building

(a) at which more than 25 workers are, or are expected to be, on-site at any one time; and

(b) that will have a building area of more than 600 m² or a height of more than three storeys.

4.10(2) L'exemption prévue au paragraphe (1) ne s'applique pas à un chantier de construction ou de rénovation d'un immeuble commercial, industriel ou institutionnel dans le cas suivant :

a) plus de 25 travailleurs se trouvent ou devraient normalement se trouver en même temps sur le chantier;

b) l'immeuble aura une aire de plus de 600 m² ou comptera plus de trois étages.

Coming into force

4 This regulation comes into force on April 1, 2027.
