1 The Personal Health Information Regulation, Manitoba Regulation 245/97, is amended by this regulation.

1 Le présent règlement modifie le Règlement sur les renseignements médicaux personnels, R.M. 245/97.
2 The following is added after subsection 8.5(2):
2 Il est ajouté, après le paragraphe 8.5(2), ce qui suit :
8.5(3) A prescribed health research organization may collect and use a person's PHIN for a purpose mentioned in subsection 24.1(2) of the Act, subject to and in accordance with the requirements of the agreement entered into under subsection 24.1(4) of the Act.
8.5(3) L'organisme réglementaire de recherche en matière de santé peut obtenir et utiliser le NIMP d'une personne aux fins prévues au paragraphe 24.1(2) de la Loi et dans le respect des modalités de l'accord conclu en conformité avec le paragraphe 24.1(4) de cette même loi.
