Manitoba Regulation 339/88 R amended
1 The Food and Food Handling Establishments Regulation, Manitoba Regulation 339/88 R, is amended by this regulation.

1 Le présent règlement modifie le Règlement sur les denrées alimentaires, R.M. 339/88 R.
2(1) Subsection 3(1) is amended by striking out "subsections (4) and (5)" and substituting "subsections (4) to (5)".
2(1) Le paragraphe 3(1) est modifié par substitution, à « (4) et (5) », de « (4) à (5) ».
2(2) The following is added after subsection 3(4):
2(2) Il est ajouté, après le paragraphe 3(4), ce qui suit :
3(4.1) For certainty, a permit is not required for a food handling establishment in respect of the sale of ungraded eggs in accordance with section 7.1 of the Poultry Products Regulation, Manitoba Regulation 211/87 R.
3(4.1) Il demeure entendu qu'il n'est pas nécessaire qu'un permis soit délivré à l'égard d'un établissement de manutention des aliments pour la vente d'œufs non classés effectuée en conformité avec l'article 7.1 du Règlement sur les produits avicoles, R.M. 211/87 R.
2(3) Subsection 3(5) is amended
(a) by striking out "subsection (4)" and substituting "subsections (4) and (4.1)"; and
(b) in the English version, by striking out "that subsection" and substituting "those subsections".

3 The following is added after subsection 5(5):

5(5.1) For certainty, subsection (5) does not apply to the sale of ungraded eggs in accordance with section 7.1 of the Poultry Products Regulation.

4 Section 26 is replaced with the following:

Sale of uninspected poultry
26 For certainty, sections 19 and 20 do not apply to the sale of poultry directly to a consumer in accordance with section 7.4 of the Poultry Products Regulation.

26 Il demeure entendu que les articles 19 et 20 ne s'appliquent pas à la vente directe de volailles à un consommateur effectuée en conformité avec l'article 7.4 du Règlement sur les produits avicoles.
Coming into force
5 This regulation comes into force on May 15, 2025, or the day it is registered under The Statutes and Regulations Act, whichever is later.
