1 The Automobile Insurance Coverage Regulation, Manitoba Regulation 290/88 R, is amended by this regulation.

1 Le présent règlement modifie le Règlement sur l'assurance automobile, R.M. 290/88 R.
2(1) Clause 12(1)(c) is replaced with the following:
(c) where an insured entitled to an indemnity under clause (b) is self-employed or employed as a commissioned salesperson their entitlement to benefits shall be based on their average gross weekly earnings after deduction of business expenses excluding income tax;

2(2) Subsection 12(2) of the English version is amended
(a) by striking out "clause 1(a)" and substituting "clause (1)(a)"; and
(b) by striking out "clause 1(b)" wherever it occurs and substituting "clause (1)(b)".

3 Section 29 is replaced with the following:

29 If a person who is entitled to the payment of an amount under this Part has a committee appointed under The Mental Health Act or a substitute decision maker for property appointed under The Adults Living with an Intellectual Disability Act, the corporation shall pay the amount to the committee or substitute decision maker.

4 Section 30 is amended by striking out "sections 10 and 23 and subsection 29(1)" and substituting "sections 10, 23 and 29".

11 In the following provisions, "$1,260" is struck out and "$1,500" is substituted:
