HIS MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:
S.M. 2023, c. 4 amended
1 The Official Time Amendment Act, as enacted by S.M. 2023, c. 4, is amended by this Act.
2 Section 4 is amended by striking out "a day to be fixed by proclamation" and substituting "March 8, 2026".
Coming into force
3 This Act comes into force on the day it receives royal assent.

Explanatory Note Currently, The Official Time Amendment Act comes into force on proclamation to discontinue the seasonal time change from daylight saving time. The commencement of that Act is amended so that it will come into force on March 8, 2026, instead. |
