THE MOUNT CARMEL CLINIC AMENDMENT ACT

WHEREAS Mount Carmel Clinic was incorporated by The Mount Carmel Clinic Act, S.M. 1974, c. 81, and was continued by The Mount Carmel Clinic Act, R.S.M. 1990, c. 120;

AND WHEREAS Mount Carmel Clinic has presented a petition requesting the following amendments to The Mount Carmel Clinic Act, and it is appropriate to grant the petition;

THEREFORE HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

R.S.M. 1990, c. 120 amended

The Mount Carmel Clinic Act is amended by this Act.

Section 9 is amended

(a) by striking out "25" and substituting "at least 12 but no more than 15"; and

(b) by striking out "Manitoba Health Services Commission" and substituting "minister responsible for The Health Services Insurance Act".

Coming into force

This Act comes into force on the day it receives royal assent.
