THE CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES AMENDMENT ACT (NO FEE FOR REGISTRY CHECKS RESPECTING VOLUNTEERS)

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

C.C.S.M. c. C80 amended

The Child and Family Services Act is amended by this Act.

The following is added after subsection 19.3(3.1):

No fee payable for volunteer

19.3(3.2)

No fee is payable for an application under subsection (3.1) to assess a person whose work is unpaid.

Coming into force

This Act comes into force on the day it receives royal assent.
