HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

The Legislative Assembly Act is amended by this Act.

Subsection 52.22(1) is amended by striking out "mail letters" and substituting "send letters".

Coming into force

This Act comes into force on the day it receives royal assent.

Explanatory Note

The Legislative Assembly Act currently gives members of the Assembly the privilege to mail letters to residents and businesses in their constituencies three times a year at the Assembly's expense. This Bill allows the members to send those letters either by mail or by other methods of delivery.
