The Colleges Amendment and Le Collège Universitaire de Saint-Boniface Amendment Act (College Degrees)

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:
1(1) The Colleges Act is amended by this section.
1(2) The definition "program of study" in subsection 5(1) is amended by striking out "diploma or certificate" and substituting "certificate, a diploma or a baccalaureate degree with an applied focus".
1(3) Clause 17(e) is amended by striking out "certificates and diplomas" and substituting "certificates, diplomas and baccalaureate degrees with an applied focus".
2 Section 6 of Le Collège universitaire de Saint-Boniface Act is amended by striking out "and" at the end of clause (a) and adding the following after clause (a):
(a.1) baccalaureate degrees with an applied focus; and
3 This Act comes into force on the day it receives royal assent.
