THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY AND EXECUTIVE COUNCIL CONFLICT OF INTEREST AMENDMENT ACT

C.C.S.M. c. L112 amended

1           The Legislative Assembly and Executive Council Conflict of Interest Act is amended by this Act.

2           The following is added after clause 12(g):

(g.1) the amount of salary and other compensation received from a political party, other than money received as reimbursement for expenses actually incurred by the member or minister;

Coming into force

3(1)        This Act comes into force on the day it receives royal assent.

Time to comply

3(2)        A member of the Assembly who is receiving salary or other compensation from a political party when this Act comes into force must file a further disclosure statement under subsection 11(3) of The Legislative Assembly and Executive Council Conflict of Interest Act within 30 days after this Act comes into force.
