THE MANITOBA PUBLIC INSURANCE CORPORATION AMENDMENT ACT

(Assented to November 19, 1996)

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

C.C.S.M. c. P215 amended

1         The Manitoba Public Insurance Corporation Act is amended by this Act.

2          Subsection 158(3) is repealed.

3         Section 197 is amended by striking out "(Canada), the Unemployment Insurance Act (Canada) or any similar program in a jurisdiction outside Manitoba" and substituting "or any similar program in a jurisdiction outside Manitoba other than the Unemployment Insurance Act (Canada)".

Coming into force

4         This Act comes into force on the day it receives royal assent.
