4-H Program

PURPOSE
This program provides leadership training and personal development, particularly in agriculture and life skills, meeting management, communications, community contribution and rural leadership.

WHO QUALIFIES
Eligible applicants include rural youth, eight to 19 years old and adult volunteer leaders.
This includes:

• Manitoba 4-H Council
• MAFRI representatives on behalf of 4-H participants

ELIGIBLE COSTS
Funds are available for:

• leadership training for 4-H members and adult volunteers
• materials/resources for skills development
• educational trips and conferences for 4-H members/leaders
• scholarships for 4-H members
• communication and leadership development for youth/adults
