Organic Transition Program

PURPOSE OF PROGRAM/SERVICE
The goal of the Manitoba Organic Transition Program (MOTP) is to increase organic agricultural production and processing in Manitoba by assisting producers and processors with the cost of transitioning to certified organic status.

AVAILABLE BENEFITS/ASSISTANCE
MOTP will reimburse up to 2/3 of the cost of certification fees paid by Manitoba operators to an organic certification agency during the formal transition period to full organic status. The maximum contribution is $800 per year for two years.
